Treasure was originally ordered to have extended sides, much like the 2003 Eastbay 43, but that option was not available at that time. Dickerson Harbor agreed to do the job for OYA. The boat arrived as standard with no tinted glass, no air conditioning and a standard arrangement. During the winter and spring of 2003 the side profile of the EB54 was scaled by Dickerson to work with the 49. From that scaling, they were able to fabricate templates and molds to alter this standard boat. With OEM gelcoat, the result was a factory finished product. Later Grand Banks was able to customize boats for OYA using the patterns Dickerson created — providing a fully enclosed SX model with a centerline door and a side door configuration. | ||
