Accomodations & Equipment
Built as Defiant in 2003 for an experienced yachtsman, this well built Delta yacht was purchased by her second and current owner in 2007. With her timeless profile and understated hand rubbed cherry interior, she has been maintained with an open check book and constantly upgraded since new, including a new flybridge hard-top and mast, built at Delta Marine and fitted at Rybovich, the addition of Zero Speed stabilizers and upgrade of V-Sat and all audio visual equipment, this vessel is ready to go cruising.
The current owner also changed the original 4 stateroom layout, into a 5 stateroom configuration, by converting the previous below decks full beam master suite (with his'n'hers) into 2 dedicated staterooms, each with an ensuite multi-jet steam shower. This work was artfully performed by Rybovich in keeping with the cherry cabinetry and decor and could easily be re-converted back to her original layout should the new owners wish.
You will not be disappointed with the fit, finish, systems or condition of this pedigree yacht, which with her shoal draft is equally at home cruising the Bahamas or the Hamptons as she is transfersing the Caribbean and Central America, which she has done countless times.
There are multiple areas to dine on "CDIII", from the aft deck, to the covered skylounge aft deck, to the formal dining salon, which is open to the main salon. On the main deck, to the left of the main stb'd entrance foyer is the spacious formal Dining Salon. This room currently holds seating for eight comfortably but could accommodate ten people. The table is surrounded on all four sides by stunning cherry wood cabinetry. These cabinets, topped with mesmerizing Amarello Venetano Granite, double as a buffet and have been configured to house enough platters, place settings and vases to satisfy the most avid entertainer. Forward of the dining table, on the port side, is a foot operated pass-thru to the galley. On both sides of the dining salon are large 9ft by 4ft windows to ensure the view is not missed while sitting down and dining indoors. In front of the starboard window is the staircase leading to the sky lounge. The well planned, open design of this staircase has a minimal effect on light or view.
Main Salon Aft of the dining salon is the large and comfortable Main Salon. This room features cherry wood cabinetry and molding throughout. Large windows run the length of both sides to ensure maximum light and view, even while seated. On the starboard side, just forward of the double aft deck doors, you will find a wet bar featuring Amarello Venetano Granite with a black Porcelain sink. This bar is easily accessible from the aft deck and dining salon. Forward of the bar is a concealed 50 inch Panasonic Plasma screen TV, excellently situated for easy viewing from any part of the salon as well as the dining area. To the left, under a built-in bookcase, is the electronics cabinet featuring the video and music system. Programmable lighting is a feature in this room as well in the dining salon, sky lounge and master stateroom.
Accessed from the main salon, the Sky Lounge is utilized by the current owner as a study area, featuring a desk/work area and a large day bed. Showcasing several cherry wood built-in book shelves and a glass hutch, there is a powder room adjoining, at the top of the stairs. The room is surrounded by several large windows and has a door leading to the boat deck and another to the wheelhouse forward, which can be accessed by crew through a hatch and ladder from the galley or from the flybridge above, to assure privacy to the skylounge area.
The wet bar (with plenty of storage), features a concealed 50 inch Panasonic Plasma screen TV, lumen sink, ice maker and refrigerator. The day head, located at the top of the stairs features Maple flooring, a Santa Cecillia Yellow Granite counter top and a large window.
An extensive electronics closet is located in the starboard aft portion of the room and houses the comprehensive hard drive video library and music system.
On-deck Master Stateroom Traveling forward to the starboard hall away from the main foyer and its beautiful maple floor, you pass the day head and coat closet on the left and end in what is now the on deck master stateroom. This room features elegantly upholstered walls, cherry wood paneling and built-in desk, large 4ft high windows, cedar-lined walk-in closet and a queen size bed with built-in storage. Opposite the bed is a 37 inch Panasonic Plasma screen TV. The ensuite head features a Corian counter top and a large glass front shower.
Due to the fact the current owner tows a 31' RIB tender the upper deck is left open to maximize the outdoor enjoyment for owners and guests. Accessed from either the skylounge or the aft deck, the sundeck features several areas with which to enjoy the open air ambiance. Forward, under a covered overhang, with removable side curtains is a circular seating area for informal dining for 6. In addition there are movable teak tables, chairs and sun lounges, plus large sunbrella's for a multitiude of configurations.
This whole area is covered in a very pleasant teak deck with cream colored caulking. There are storage areas to port and the large 4,000LB extendable davit is capable of moving an 18' tender or jetski's around the deck.

A second sink, dishwasher and trash compactor are grouped together for an easy post meal cleanup. A second freezer is located in the lazarette for extended cruise provisioning. To starboard is a full size storage locker and ice maker.
To the port side of the settee is a spiral integral stairway leading to the swim platform which features a hand held warm or cold shower and access to the lazarette and engine room.
