The graceful and stately Cornish Crabbers Pilot Cutter 30 is a traditional cruising yacht which attracts attention wherever she goes. In either gaff or bermuda rig with retractable bowsprit to reduce berthing costs, she is the flagship of the Cornish Crabbers' range of yachts. The robustly built hull and generous standard sail plan, combined with a sheltered cockpit, ensure the Pilot Cutter will handle weather conditions with ease and grace. The Pilot Cutter is available as a standard boat or can also be built to an owner's individual requirements and specifications. On deck, sophisticated design and materials combine to provide a traditional elegant look utilising non-slip walking areas, stainless steel fittings and generous use of teak on gunwales, cockpit coamings and seats, doghouse trim, grab rails and washboards. Cedar is used for the self-draining cockpit floorboards and spars are made from specially selected timber. A 3GM20 engine is fitted being more than enough power to provide outstanding performance. An optional teak deck can be provided. The Pilot Cutter 30 successfully combines a proven hull design with a modern comfortable deck and spacious accommodation. Her stability is excellent throughout and is built to Cornish Crabbers' very high standards. The cabin sides and hull are fitted with portholes and the toughened glass opening hatches above give expansive light to the cabin area. The 9-foot, 6-inch beam provides a light airy accommodation layout, comprising of a cosy double V-berth, 2 large quarterberths, and a small settee berth. The galley provides everything one needs in the form of a cooker complete with grill and oven. Adjacent is the chart table with provision for chart storage. Separate toilet and shower facilities are available in a choice of layouts, fittings, and colour schemes. The choice of interior may be light and airy or individually tailored to suit the customers choice.
