There are many custom features on this vessel. Corian counters in the galley, overhead handrail in the main salon, custom dimmer switches for the overhead and valance in the main salon and indirect ambiance lighting in the galley and forward stateroom, custom cabinet on the forward bulkhead of the galley. Her interior configuration is like all the 42's but the subtle touches are nice. Four ports are included in the trunk cabin rather than the standard three. The master stateroom is forward with a centerline queen berth that has been lowered, shelves outboard and drawers under the berth, hanging locker and shelves to starboard, head access to port. Nice large head with dual entry and separate shower stall. Next to port is the U-shaped galley that is open to the upper salon. Opposite to starboard is the guest cabin with hanging locker and privacy curtain, single upper and double lower berth or both make into a nice settee for reading. Up 3 steps to the lower helm, main salon, helm to starboard with ice maker under custom seat, custom barrel chair on starboard with corner entertainment center. On port salon forward is the navigation center and L-shaped dinette is aft to starboard with hi-lo table and it converts to a double berth. Aft door to the cockpit. The cockpit has 3 large lazzarettes, H&C wet bar, H&C swim shower, transom door to swim platform and access to side decks and flybridge. The flybridge is very accomodating with 2 Pompanette helm seats and an L-shaped dinette aft to port.
U-shaped galley to port with corian counters, custom cabinet, Hot and cold pressure water, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, electric stove top and plenty of counter and cabinet space for cruising. A top loading deep freezer box is located in the cockpit beneath the center lazarette.
5 batteries with parallel switch, Heart Freedom 25 inverter, Link Basic Remote panel, 110V 50 amp shore power with Glendenning cord reel, 12.5KW Westerbeke generator with 1 16K unit and 2 12K units, 1-TV/Telephone inlets (entertainment center and forward cabin). The controls are state of the art Teleflex Magic Bus controls. Built into this control system is sychronization of the engines.
