Rio 600 Cabin Fish which is otherwise known as a Scarani 21. These boats are designed and built by the Scarani family in Italy and Spain and were aimed at those who wanted to go angling or diving from a stable platform. Both hull and deck constructed of GRP and finished in hi-gloss white gelcoat. Large self draining cockpit with raised gunwales providing security when motoring or fishing at anchor. All flat surfaces finished in moulded non slip for safety. Under water area with moulded spray strakes increasing grip at speed and giving a dry comfortable ride. Hull antifouled in the spring of 2015.
The self bailing cockpit has large below deck stowage lockers and an inbuilt tackle box. There is an access door to bathing platform and retractable ladder.
Engine access hatch in cockpit to allow inspection of engine and access to filters and ease of maintenance.
Access forward is allowable on both sides of the wheelhouse. Protection is given by stainless steel guard rails and handrails on wheelhouse roof. The anchor is situated in a large self bailing well.
Sliding patio style doors allow access to wheelhouse.The side windows are perspex and slide open allowing ventilation. Cockpit has a full cockpit enclosure to keep it clean and dry. The whole can be removed or the sides and rear can be removed with a bimini top remaining.
Powered by a Nanni 4-cylinder 135hp petrol inboard through adjustable tilt stern drive to a fixed three bladed propellor.
There are 2 deep cycle batteries with isolator switches, which provide engine start and domestic power.
Engine instrumentation at helm with gauges for fuel, temperature, charging and oil pressure. Single lever engine control with forward and reverse gearing.
Spacious wheelhouse with a double berth in forward area with cushions in blue fabric making the berths very comfortable. Sink with hand pumped fresh water supply on starboard side.
Chemical toilet under berth. Opening fore deck hatch for ventilation.
