In July/August 2009, the owner made a thorough service of the boat, in and out of the water, including new watermaker, new batteries, new manual pumps, new backstays, as well as servicing the engine and bowthruster, and polishing the hull, leaving the yacht in an excellent condition.
April 2013 she is having her yearly maintenance works and servicing, including removal of the rig.

DESIGNER / BUILDER COMMENTS AND INTRODUCTION:
The Cubic 70 introduced a new concept in large sailing boats and represented the top model for the range of Puma Yachts. The design brief was to initiate a new style in the field of nautical sport. The yacht was to have performance, comfort and good safety features â€“ to allow her use in any navigation program, from Mediterranean holiday cruising to long duration ocean sailing.
The rigging design shows a clear vocation for fast navigation, allowing constant cruising speeds of between 10-12 knots while still offering excellent course stability. The design of the deck responds to the double objective of navigational safety and the enjoyment of the sea, with two cockpits; one for work and steering at the stern; the other central one free of rigging for the guests / crews relaxation. The deck area also has two solarium areas covered in teak wood, one forward and one aft.
CUBIC 70 is the technology, quality and design synthesis of PUMA YACHTS shipyard work.
