This Osprey is one of a very few Diesel Powered 24’s and has a solid blue Awl Gripped hull. Full electronics including Radar and two fishfinders, she is perfectly equipped for our New England waters. The pilot house is heated with a bus type heater while the Volvo diesel is separately equipped with a block heater. Set up for our East Coast fishing, she sports an in-transom live well as well as two in-deck fish boxes.  The fully enclosed and insulated pilot house has a full helm,  air cushioned helm seat and a dinette set up for four opposite the galley counter and sink. Below is a traditional cuddy cabin with V-berths and a marine head. The upholstery is in excellent condition.

The Cockpit measures a full 7 ft by 8 ft and sports a second maneuvering helm with engine controls and wheel. The engine box has a seat cushion as do the two battery boxes so there is plenty of comfort for your weary bones while drifting for fluke. The high gunwales make an extremely safe cockpit for anglers and children alike. The foredeck is equally protected with high rails for safety going forward. The anchor windlass is operated from the helm station. The cockpit transom door opens on to the fiberglass swim platform for easy boarding from dock or the water.

Able to cruise at 2200 rpm and 21 knots with a reported 3 gph fuel burn giving a range of  near 1000 miles on the 150 gal fuel tank, there is no doubt that this Osprey 24 Fisherman is well suited for serious anglers both on shore and off shore.
