Beautiful custom OMEGA 46 designed by Ron Holland and built in Orust, Sweden (Home of Malo, Hallberg Rassy, etc) Very rare in the US, this yacht was built for her current experienced owners, and has successfully done a transatlantic crossing but is equally at home sailing shorthanded in the shallower bays of her home area in the Chesapeake. Fast, and closewinded.
Stunning interior built in mahogany, with corian countertops in the extensive U shaped galley. The Starboard settee folds out to be a double berth, to compliment the vee berth cabin forward, and the aft quarter cabin.
She will be in Charleston for June, and then back in Easton, MD for the rest of the summer.
Some key features include;
Extensive electronic package with Raymarine ST60 instruments, Standard Horizon and Furuno GPS's, AIS, Icom SSB, EPIRB and more.
LED lights, throughout , including nav lights.
840 Amp hour batteries (new 2011 both start & service), inverter, new Raritan manual toilet, and solar panels
This custom Ron Holland designed Omega 46 was designed and built for an extremely discerning ORIGINAL owner who has completed two Atlantic crossings with FIRST LIGHT. This owner is well known for the way he maintains his yacht, and she is in superb condition.
Starting aft is a large owner's cabin with full width double, with split mattress for offshore. Coming out of owner's cabin, to stbd is the nav station and main control panel, with companionway entrance on centerline. On port is a nice u-shaped galley with double sst sinks inboard, two burner stove/oven, refrigeration and plenty of upper and lower cabinets/drawers.
Heading forward is a u shaped custom settee on the port side with a folding leaf removable dining table, and opposite a settee which converts to a sea berth in heavy weather. Head is next with shower and new Raritan toilet, and then a generous size v-berth forward.
