The 53' Grand Alaskan series are highly sought after with only a handful ever built. This yacht was custom built for her owner under very meticulous specifications in regards to system, fit and finish. She is truly beautiful and can meet the demands of the most discriminating Captain/Owner. The 53 Grand Alaskan is known as one of the finest riding BLUEWATER yachts ever built! The current owner and family have cruised the yacht extensively and boasts she is a capable of providing a soft ride in all sea conditions. The stabilizers maintain a comfortable ride and the bow thruster makes docking a pleasure, even for a single-handed owner. During Panache's repower the owner used that time to have the bottom repainted, the Niad Stabilizers serviced and seals replaced, installed new GE side-by side refrigerator with ice maker, replaced BBQ grill, completely service 40 hp Yamaha tender engine and replaced electric tilt motor.  Panache is standing by prepared to take her new owners any where  they wish to go.

Accommodations Featuring a two (2) stateroom layout that again was specifically designed by the original owner, the mid-ship stateroom has cross-over berths which provide much more open space than the standard layout. This stateroom offers engine room access double door, private head with shower, desk area and washer/dryer. A huge double hanging locker is also provided. The forward stateroom has an island queen size bed, private head, overhead hatch, storage drawers and hanging locker Aft Deck: The aft deck area was extended further back by the original owner and offers the largest area of any of the 53 series Grand Alaskans. This expansive aft deck has port and starboard gate doors for easy access. The built in bench seating features custom made beige and black cushions that complement the teak table. There is storage under the seating as well as on each side of the molded side tables. The custom built teak hi-lo table folds out to accommodate dining for four. The teak table has two stainless steel pedestals. To port is a molded fiberglass cabinet housing the built in propane BBQ grill. This is a wonderful area for outside entertaining or water activities off the over-sized swim platform. The aft deck double teak doors lead into the exquisite salon with seating on both sides. Salon: Tasteful designer fabrics and accessories accent the satin finished teak interior. The window treatments have 2" wood blinds. As you enter the salon, to starboard aft is the built-in teak entertainment center with a 27" TV. There is a corner teak cabinet above the TV for storage. A bookshelf is built in at the lower section of the aft starboard side bulkhead of the salon. To port aft is a custom built sofa/settee extremely comfortable, with storage beneath in the teak base. There is a teak cocktail table here which folds open and raises for additional interior dining. There are two (2) teak bar stools in front of the galley/bar countertop that can be used as additional seating for dining. Forward of the sofa/settee and connecting the galley/bar area to the salon is a built in teak end table with storage. Rather than having the plain teak veneer on the wall areas, the owner designed a raised panel effect wherever possible, adding to the designer look and appeal of the yacht's interior. New drop in carpet has just been added. Galley: This full galley forward and to port features expansive Corian counters and teak bull nose, custom pantry area and a great amount of storage allowing for comfort and ease while preparing a meal or simply socializing with guests in the Salon over the bar area. The U-shaped layout has the stainless steel sink with Grohe pull-out spray faucet under the port window, with water purification system. The 3-burner propane cook top is facing forward with a stainless steel back splash along the entire forward bulkhead area. Above the propane cook top is a stainless steel Advantium microwave convection oven. To port is the brand new side-by-side GE refrigerator/freezer with water and ice in the door and connected to the Galley-Mate water purification system. Forward of the refrigerator is the extra large pantry.  The aft area is a large expansive Corian countertop that separates the Salon from the Galley with additional drawer storage and the dishwasher. Pilothouse: The pilothouse was modified by adjusting the depth of the instrumentation panel and moving the Stidd helm chair forward allowing passage between the chair and table. Steps leading up from the galley open up to the large pilothouse that has great visibility, Stidd captain's chair is upholstered in Ultra-Leather and port and starboard doors leading out to wide walk around, covered decks. The Stidd chair swivels around to the used for casual dining at the table. There is an L-shaped settee covered in Ultra-Leather, located aft and to port with a teak high-low table that opens up for dining. This table also lowers to convert to an additional berth. The raised foot rest in teak and holly opens up for maximum storage capability. On the aft bulkhead behind the settee are two cabinets, teak trimmed, for additional storage. A full array of electronics and large chart table provide plenty of room to plan trips and run the yacht, making this a Captain's dream. The forward stairs lead down to the staterooms and the starboard side aft stairs lead up to the flybridge and boat deck. These stairs have wonderfully carved teak banisters.
