For those moderate size, 2 stateroom MY fans, there is absolutely nothing more to want than this Cummins 6BTA diesel powered T-370hp 2002 Carver 396. “Who’s Next” has only 505 operational hours and should be considered in way, way above, average condition. Every surface shines, the boat shows extremely well, passes the smell test, and demonstrates pride of ownership throughout. It’s been kept right and it shows!
The below spaces convey and immediate sense of comfort in both the salon and staterooms which are spacious, carpeted (new in 2010,) and nicely appointed. The salon is easily the most impressive aspect of the boat – its immense. Includes Vizio flat screen TV w/DVD player and Direct SAT TV unit. Salon and Galley have a separate AC/Heat zone. Double recliners are included in salon STBD sofa. Stowaway sofa bed in salon on the PORT side.
Entertainment includes KVH satellite M1 with 3 receivers and 3 flat panel TV’s (all new in 2009.) DVD players are included in the salon and MSR. AM-FM CD players are included in the salon, MSR and bridge with MP3 and 4 outdoor speakers.
Full galley down with “apartment size” frig and freezer, microwave/convection oven plus an Oster toaster oven, 3 burner stove top, and built-in coffee maker. Hardwood flooring on galley sole. Cabin windshield sun screen, new in 2012, cover the forward windows.
Guest Stateroom, with walk around double berth, and VacuFlush head with enclosed shower stall, provide accommodations and privacy. TV and separate AC/heat zone are featured. Cedar lined closet with plenty of drawer storage with custom latches.
Master Suite, with athwartships double berth, is also walk around for ease of entry and convenience when changing bedding. 2 cedar lined hanging lockers, with plenty of drawer storage and custom latches, separate AC/heat zone, and flat screen TV can be found in the MSR. VacuFlush head and enclosed shower stall are also featured in the master suite.
Engine room access is through the cabin sole where the Cummins 6BTA Engines and Kohler 10kW generator with 452 hours are installed. Engines feature an oil change system, 3 bilge pumps plus a “crash pump” on the STBD engine. This feature is designed to turn the entire engine into a huge bilge pump in the event of below waterline hull intrusion. A tremendous safety feature on any vessel. 5AGM batteries were added new in 2010. 4 bilge blowers, 3 CO detectors and fire suppression system.
The helm features both Raymarine C80 GPS chartplotter, 24 mile radar dome and DSM 300G sonar module that were new in 2009. A second Raymarine C90W GPS plotter/radar unit was installed new in 2011. Raytheon Autopilot ST6001, controls for Jabsco dual beam spotlight and Maxwell windlass are included. Standard Marine VHF model Matrix AIS+ GX2150 interfaced to C90W new in 2012. The bridge is also carpeted and features a Raritan ice maker under the wet bar. Generous seating on the bridge will allow for a small family reunion. The bimini top canvas and isinglass appear in excellent shape.
Wing doors and a hardtop protect the carpeted cockpit which is accessed on molded stairs from the swim platform where you will find a transom shower as well as storage locker. The cockpit area isinglass, with U-zips, and screens on the surrounding panels, which will keep unwanted guests at bay. The bridge SunBrella Plus enclosure with 5 U-zip panels were made new in 2012. Side decks provide access to the front deck, where fender keepers are installed on the bow rails and an anchor washdown system is featured in the access hatch to 150’ 5/16” all-chain anchor rode attached to a 35lb Delta Anchor. SunPads, newly covered in 2009, are also installed on the fore deck.
