Hathor has a wonderful, spacious, luxurious layout offering superb comfort with interior workmanship that is yacht finish plus. Her three cabin floor plan is remarkable with great flow between individual living and sleeping areas, offering far greater privacy due to separation between owners stateroom and crew, guest areas and allowing for unencumberred access to the salon from each living area.
SALON: The salon features a lovely U shaped settee to starboard with table and full bench. Large windows illuminate this area and provide a marvelous place in the yacht to sit and watch the world go by. There is access to both port and starboard weather decks, the aft cabin, upper aft deck, and access forward to the two forward staterooms.

AFT of SALON:
Aft of the Salon is the AFT CABIN, a superb feature of a trunk cabin yacht, yielding sumptuous accomodations with a centerline queen bed--made all that more comfortable by superb mattresses, and remarkable amounts of storage in drawers and closets. Note photos. There is plentiful counterspace and a very nice desk with storage outboard and below. Additionally, there is a large HEAD with SEPERATE SHOWER STALL on the port side of the cabin. Additionally the cabin has an exit to the cockpit.
FORWARD of the SALON:
Forward, and down only a few steps is the PANTRY to starboard, GUEST CABIN to port, FORWARD HEAD, VIP STATEROOM all the way forward.
The PANTRY is as large as many galleys on yachts of this size. There are numerous shelves and drawers, extra storage lockers custom built where a Washer Dryer was situated previously. There is a Deep Freezer, extra Refrigerator, and again, plentiful storage.
The GUEST STATEROOM has upper and lower berth configured perpendicular to each other, along with a desk and closet. There is an opening port, very nice lighting and a really comfortable feel to the cabin. Berths are long and though single, very comfortable.
The HEAD is forward and has toilet, vanity, storage. There is an electric head and plentiful stowage. Additionally, a separate shower stall is forward in the head and provides private entry from the VIP STATEROOM.
FORWARD STATEROOM, VIP STATEROOM is forward. Large Center-line Queen berth. Wonderful spaces with proper closets, large drawers, lighting.

At the heart of HATHOR'S electrical system is a 12 volt and 24 volt house DC electrical system and 125/250 AC system activated via shore power or inverter or on board generator, allowing independent, self sustaining cruising.60 hz frequency.
Shore power system new set of AGM batteries providing 12 V DC power. The batteries consist of 4 in the house bank with one for each engine and one battery for the 16kW generator. Also new in August 2013 is a Magna Sine, pure sine wave inverter with 4000 Watt capacity.
Also to control the electrical system a remote control system called ME ARC was also installed.
There is a very impressive electrical panel, properly designed with intelligent usage for AC and DC breakers, meters for evaluating voltage, amperage and frequency.
A new water heater (heated from both electrical and from engine heat exchanger hot water) has just been installed in August 2013.

The hull laminate is all first class with the use of vinylester resin throughout. Core-cell foam core has been added for stiffness as well as sound and thermal insulation. The deck also utilizes core-cell foam, adding again, stiffness and quiet. The hull to deck joint is bonded and fastened every four inches.

A sophisticated and durable dependible Air Conditioning system is part of the superb quality and overall nature of what makes HATHOR special in all respects. The AC is a Cruisair DX modulating system allowing up to 5 independent temperature control zones with one condensing unit.
There are five cooling units distributed as follows: Aft, forward, mid cabins and lower galley or pantry are EMB8C units with capacity of 8000 Btu/hour. The main salon has EMB14C with capacity of 14,000 Btu/hour.THere are two FM42C-P condenser units each with capacity of 42,000 Btu/hour.
The system can effectively chill one out of the boat.
HEAT: The Webasto heating units are separate from the Cruiseair system and provide heating through their own circulation system.
With Hathor, the heating system is similar to a boiler in a home using heating oil. Lots of heat and virtually unlimited but for the fuel carried aboard
Hathor was built to a spec so very few yachts could rationally be built to, due to her owner and builder interface, with the owners funds being almost without limitation. In the design process, the owner spelled out a fairly tall order for designers, to have a yacht with proper spaces, nearly stand-up engine room, easy access to systems, really voluminous storage, a stable hull not needing stabilization, reasonable speed with economical usage and reasonable range, comfortable living quarters for six, beautiful hull form, superbly attractive at the dock, etc., ad hominum.
The builder and designer, both considered by the way at the top of the hi end in both of their respective catagories, viewed Hathor as the queen of the fleet. Once finished, all involved realized they had a jewel of a yacht on hand and saw the success of the build. The initial plan was to create tooling but along came one economic crisis after another and the plans to build a fleet of Bruckmann 56's were scuttled.
What was not diminished however was the realization that Hathor's build as a project, was a sparkling success. She met or exceeded all of the needs and wants of the owner and she was seen by the marine business and the marine press as a phenomenal yacht in so many respects.
