Launched in October 2001, "Shahtoosh" is one of the latest designs from the Warwick Yacht Design team in New Zealand. Registered in Hong Kong she carried on the strong lineage of Warwick boats built at Salthouse Boatbuilders including Indulgence, Martinique 1 and Giverny. Built of composites and vacuum bagged over a male mould the post cured hull is of cored construction with a female moulded superstructure. Seamless construction of all chainplates and integrated stanchions and cleats achieve a simplicity of line and detail to complement the carbon fibre rig and cast fin and lead bulb. Winner of the Premier Cruising Clas, Jugra Cup, at the Raja Muda Regatta 2005 and 2006, Shahtoosh is ready to race or cruise in style. Boom furling mainsail and a self tacking furling headsail enhance two person sailing. The deckhouse saloon has good vision for both standing and sitting, and leads into a luxuriously appointed galley. Accommodation comprises three cabin layout with owner's stateroom and ensuite and double and twin cabins with independent access to shared ensuite. Close attention to aesthetics and the subtle use of graphics have produced a strikingly handsome yacht. | ||
