The T3500 is better known as a performance coastal cruiser with pleasing contemporary lines and with a modern flowing huge interior. The T3500 are easy to look at, offer extreme pride of ownership, are respected in the sailing community for quality and are fun fast and comfortable sailing machines. In light air, they move faster than most; in heavy air, you better reef and hang on. Attention to detail is everywhere. Their design is perfect for coastal and inshore sailing. “Blue Horizon”, as she’s called, is a well loved and cared for, lightly sailed, dark blue, double spreader rig, 2001 Tartan 3500. She is the best equipped 3500 currently available. Her dark blue hull, cream colored decks and white topsides show well. Her double spreader white awlgripped rig offers a factory installed removable inner forestay with runners so when the wind picks up; a storm jib is hanked on, a double reef gets thrown in and off you go, comfortable and in control. There is a “strong track” system with an electric main self-tailing winch to make raising and reefing the full batten main with its three reef points a breeze. Reefing the main can be done from the safety of the cockpit and the dutchman system manages the sail for you. The headsail is a 130% jib on a Harken furler. There’s a cruising spinnaker with a stuffer/sock and all gear required to set it. The dodger, bimini and wheel cover are one year young. Sails and running rigging are above average and show very little wear.

Her electronics package consists of a complete Raymarine ST60 speed/depth/wind with a ST6000 below deck autopilot package. Her radar is a 4KW Color radar/chartplotter positioned at the helm. The radar is mounted on her port stern on a radar post. Plus there’s an ICOM M55 VHF with exterior RAM mike. To make those lazy windless days more enjoyable, “Blue Horizon” offers a great sound system with cockpit speakers. She carries four AGM batteries of 105 amp hours apiece with a Link 200 battery monitoring system. For her interior comforts, there is full AC/heat throughout, a large inverter, refrigeration, and hot and cold pressure water with a cockpit shower. There’s also a flat screen TV in the salon. She comes complete with an anchor windlass, good ground tackle, deck wash-down, dinghy davits, a 2000 Achilles 8’8” inflatable with a 2hp Honda outbound with an Edson engine mount. There is all the cruising and safety gear needed including dock lines, fenders and spares.  Her mechanical systems are sound and properly maintained. This vessel will fly through a marine survey.
