Looks, quality and rock-solid practicality are what make the Monterey 262 Cruiser the leader in its class. The huge cockpit leaves nothing to desire. Settle into the aft facing portside lounge seat or drop the helm seat itself for added sun worshiping or napping. Molded steps lead to the bow through a walk-through windshield. At the transom, there is a foldaway bench seat plus a transom door for easy access to an integrated swim platform. The portside wetbar is truly a winning touch and there?s even a removable cooler nearby. And when it?s mealtime just use the optional cockpit table to serve the entire crew. There is also full-size headroom aboard the 262 Cruiser. Move inside the cabin and slip into the plush comfort of the U-shape dinette. It makes for a great dining area and also converts to a comfortable double berth with plenty of storage below. This 26-footer even has an aft cabin, complete with a double berth. The private enclosed head features full standing headroom along with shower, marine toilet, vanity storage, and a sink with a faucet and shower head. There is also a cabin hanging-locker.
The Mercruiser 5.7 EFI 260hp/V8 was completely rebuilt in 2012 and ran since 15 hours. The leg is a Bravo 3 complete overhauled. and the Duoprop is stainless steel P26. This pitch is slightly bigger than the standard one P24 This makes it more economic cruising at lower speed but it reduces the maximum speed to around 20 knots.
