Penultimate is a Grand Bank 46 Europa in superb condition.  The GB 46 Europa has been enjoying wide consumer acceptance since it's introduction.  Penultimate was ordered and equipped for longer range, wider area cruising.  With her offshore systems she has had several cruises from Nova Scotia to the Bahamas.  Her mast is easily lowered for canals and bridges.  She has lived in a building for years, when not in use; dry sailed for her cruises.  She cruises at 10.4 knots @1gpm with stabilizers, generator, bowthruster, full fuel and water, Zodiac, etc.  View the photos to see a bottom as smooth as any racing boat - tremendous fuel saver.

Penultimate has a complete and detailed service log, including receipts from all service and upgrades.  Her systems have been consistently and proffessionally  maintained from launch to present.

We have begun her September modifications as described in the upgrade section of this listing.  The first being installation of a small 12v/110v "mooring" refrigerator beneath the fly bridge steps.  This will enable one to store basic supplies while at anchor, using very little power.  Or, storage for the Captain's lunch, leaving the galley just as mother wants it!!  There is a shelf above the refrigerator for storage of boat cleaning supplies, storage space next to the refrigerator with room to store a boat brush standing up.  View the photos to see this neat addition which can run off the ship's batteries for up to four days!

Our current project is the Nobletec upgrade with a custom cabinet at the lower helm station. This teak cabinet can house one jumbo monitor or two large monitors connected to a laptop or iPad which displays two screens, takes input from it's own GPS, ship's weather XM Satellite System.  We are investigating integration with the Floscan Fuel Management System.  The following photographs show the custom cabinet installed as well as the new compass location.  We have relocated the compass to move it away from the electronics and to enable the compass to be viewed easily from both the chart table and the helm.

Penultimate's new Zodiac RIB 310 tender has been mounted on it's cradle at the aft end of the flybridge, see photos.
