Manufacturer Provided Description
Although the Ferretti 48 is compact, her scale offers the comfort and safety of its big brothers. This accomplishment has been achieved by cooperative efforts between Ferretti and Zuccon International Project. In the Ferretti 48, with the help of a CAD computer system, we optimized both the space and the technical design of underwater gear such as rudders, supports, and shafts. Moreover, the performance essential to large yachts has not been missed - the 48 is fitted with powerful Caterpillar 435-hp, 8-cylinder motors. The Ferretti 48 offers owners the possibility of choosing whether to handle the craft alone or, if they prefer, to entrust the care of the vessel to a captain (there is a fully equipped crews cabin). On board there is everything necessary for enjoying many of the benefits of a larger motor yacht while retaining the agility and maneuverability of a 14-metre craft. In this boat Ferretti Engineering has used every cubic centimetre, creating interiors not normally found in similar size craft. As well as the large U-shaped seating area in the dinette, we have installed a second divan complimented by an elegant bar positioned nearby. Fine quality briar wood is the keynote of the bridge's instrument panel, and the functionality and excellent design of the helmsman seat will enable you to experience the excitement and enjoyment of leisure boating. Life on board is comfortable and pleasant. With the Ferretti 48 you feel surrounded by refinement and detailed care, whether it be the finish of teak in the cockpit, the opening "all-glass" rear partition, the convenience of the washbasin in the cockpit, or the davit for the tender.
