Beneteau Oceanis 461- Two Stateroom

LIGHT DAWNS is a beautiful example of this fast and accommodating Bruce Farr Beneteau cruiser. The Beneteau 461 was awarded BEST BOAT OF THE YEAR honors in 1997 and shares a hull form from the very successful Bruce Farr First 45s5 but with a more manageable cruising rig.  Known to be an excellent performance cruiser, Light Dawns has been lightly used and well cared for by her original owner.   Never south, this boat has sailed New England and in two of the last three summers has remained hauled and decommissioned due to the owners's schedule.

Light Dawns is easily sailed short-handed with all sail controls led back to the cockpit and controlled by an electric winch.  She is outfitted with in-mast furling, roller furling genoa, and a cruising spinnaker with carbon fiber pole.   A full electronics suite includes GPS-chartplotter, radar, autopilot, VHF radio with command mic at the helm, sailing instruments and stereo.
