This Beneteau 473 was built in the USA (she is US flagged but VAT paid on importation to the EU) and has been well set up by her owners for Blue Water/ liveaboard cruising.

A fast and spacious passage maker she has the twin aft cabin layout with an en-suite heads, a large L shaped galley, a very comfortable and light saloon and a master fwd double cabin also with en-suite heads.

Her cockpit is particularly spacious and she has twin wheel steering.

Specified for Caribbean cruising and the ARC Europe crossing she is extremely well equipped and features a custom Bimini with integrated mounts for her 2 195W solar panels, Airbreeze wind generator and Radar scanner.

She has a fully battened main (2005) with Harken Bat cars and Doyle Stackpack with reefing lines led aft, Spectra main halyard, an electric halyard winch, carbon whisker pole and the addition of a furling masthead staysail (2008).

Power and battery capacity consist of a 600ah house bank being charged by a 95amp alternator, the solar panels and the wind generator.

Navigation lights and most interior lighting are LED's and the engine battery is isolated via a charging relay.

Dual station Raymarine chartplotters are complemented by Raymarine instruments, Raymarine autopilot, Raymarine radar, an AIS transponder, Icom DSC VHF with cockpit repeater and an Icom SSB with Pactor modem.

A Spectra watermaker, Manson Supreme anchor with 90m of chain, Gori folding prop, Avon 6 person liferaft and an AB RIB with 9.8 HP outboard complete the Blue Water package.
