Emily P is a well built Windward 24 pocket ketch from the board of Karl Stanbaugh. This is a swing keel, hard chine, diesel powered vessel for day sailing, weekend cruising or long distance cruising for the adventurous sailor. The construction is two layers of 1/2" marine plywood on the bottom, with 1 layer of 1/2" marine plywood above the chine. The centerboard is 2" plywood with lead at the bottom end. The fastenings are stainless steel screws with epoxy glue throughout and dynal cloth. The auxiliary power is a 1GM10-93 Yanmar, rated at 5.9 KW at 3400 or 6.7 KW at 3600 r.p.m. You will enjoy this ketch for years to come. | ||
