Once in a while a stunningly beautiful yacht is offered for sale. The graceful classic lines, the Majestic Blue Hull and wonderfully finished teak sets this boat above the others. She has a varnished cherry interior and a teak & holly sole. She has been professionally maintained to the highest level. The Tartan 3700 offers more interior volume than most anything in her class. The increased volume is primarily from the 12'8" beam of the boat, which is carried well aft into the cockpit. There is an innovative push-button fold-up/down swim platform that sits flush in the transom, or folds down for easy access to a dinghy, dock or the water. Mainsail handling is made much easier with the Dutchman system and the Harken bat cars system. This broker has personally sailed this vessel in a variety of conditions here on SF Bay. The 3700 has behaved admirably in all conditions. Inside and out this one is a 9+. The highly desireable Sausalito slip may be transferred with approval by the harbormaster. “Beginning with the Blackwatch in 1967, Tartan Yachts has produced an uninterrupted line of exceptional 37-footers. The award-winning Tartan 3700 continues this tradition of performance, comfort, and structural integrity and has rewarded her owners with unmatched sailing characteristics and classic style.” -Tim Jackett | ||
