CLEO'S BARGE is a one-of-kind tender, hand built by Ralph Stanley specifically for the current owner. She was designed by Arthur Spurling of the Cranberry Islands. She has rarely been used and is in nearly pristine condition. The owner reports that she rows and tows quite well and can carry a heavy load without complaint -- just as a traditionally designed and built tender should. She has been featured in Maine Boats Homes and Harbors magazine.
Length: 12'
Beam: Approx. 4'
Construction: Cedar planks over oak steam bent frames. Mahogany seats and sheer plank. Bronze fastened throughout. Two sets of oak locks.
Condition: CLEO'S BARGE needs only to swell up to be ready for use. She has been used only a few times and has been stored indoors.
