Hull number fourteen from Oyster’s most successful model - the Oyster 56, Olanta was designed with practical, ocean sailing in mind. She has a unique layout that offers six comfortable sea berths in three cabins making her ideal for a family and extensive cruising. The aft cabin has two large berths with a walkthrough en-suite heads and separate shower closet. The shower closet doubles as a work area and also allows for easy access to the engine bay. Forward of the saloon there are two bunk cabins, which share a sizeable heads and shower room. A separate sail locker forward and the full-width lazarette give a huge amount of storage space.
Olanta’s performance under power and sail is first class. With all lines running back to the cockpit, she is easily handled with just two on board, though the yacht is spacious enough for six people to cruise in comfort. A yard period with Oyster Palma this year has given Olanta a thorough engineering makeover with a brand new generator, beautifully sanded decks and a professional polymer hull polish. She is looking fabulous, and is ready for cruising.
