Hull and Decks
Hull is constructed of 2" Iroko carvel (ends butted) planked over 4" sawn frames.
Hull design is "Canoe" style offering comfort is heavy, following seas as well as that Classic look that make a true statement about quality.
Iroko is a hardwood from tropical Africa and is resistant to both rot and insects.
Between Feb 1999 and August 1999 the vessel had over $55,000. of hull repairs including new stem, numerous planks etc.
In June/July of 2015 she was out of the water for extensive bottom work, prop sent out for balancing and a new bow thruster was installed.
Exterior decking, Burmese Teak, was laid new in the early 2000's and shows as new today.
The entire superstructure was replaced as well. New structural framing is Honduran Mahogany.
Pilothouse has doors to Port and Starboard to allow walk-a-round to the Portuguese Bridge.
Ladder from the cockpit gains access to the Upper deck with a Chariot Style Bridge and controls.
The aft upper deck provides a lounging area as well as the tender hoist with a new winch motor 08 2015
Tender is an 11' Rendova with 40hp 4 stroke Merc.
Tender rests on deck mounted cradle.
Anchor 150lb Forfjord with Francis Marine windlass.
Current owner since 1998 supervised refit and renovations.
