Black Label is a well-specified, well-maintained example of the very popular FARR 40 One Design class which is constantly at the front of the fleet. Great Sail wardrobe including full one design wardrobe from Quantum (Fusion), full offshore wardrobe from ULLMAN (Fibrepath), and many extra sails including CODE ZERO, Spinnaker Staysail and Assymetric Spinnaker.  She races every Thursday and most weekends.  Recently re-faired and anti-fouled, she presents absolutely immaculately.  The yacht was designed to offer fast exhilarating, cost controlled, fun sailing for owners driving their yachts.

It was designed to be fully compatible with the IRC rule and highly competitive yet has not exploited current formulation in directions that encourage better handicap at the expense of speed.  This results in a concept that has lighter displacement, higher stability and more sail area than is typical in present IRC optimised boats.
