The Dorothy Lee is a 65' trawler launched in 2000 by Duckworth Shipyard in Tarpon Springs, Florida. This vessel was designed to accommodate and be easily adaptable for a variety of projects such as:  Recreational diving, dive support, fishing, island excursions, treasure hunting and yes can be a Long Range Trawler. Many other uses could be Instrumentation deployment, testing and evaluation coastal environment monitoring, Recovery and research projects, Hydrographic sampling, Educational field trips, Teaching oceanography, ocean engineering, environmental science and marine biology. 

Dorothy Lee has 3 watertight Bulkheads with 6 dog aluminum doors. On the upper deck there is an aluminum lifting boom. In the bow is a large storage area, The Main Room below the Fantail which can be converted to a Research Lab, 6X14X16.
