The Farr 395 One Design was created for the club sailor who has an eye on speed, ease of handling, and fun of competitive and comfortable club racing in a dual purpose yacht. It's quick under sail, yet beautifully appointed and constructed.
“Talisman” is the best race prepared Farr 395 ever produced. Formerly it was known as "Tsunami" and it has one of, if not the best race record of any other Farr 395. Excellent boat for racing in IRC (1.104 rating) or PHRF (30 rating) with strong track record including 2nd in fleet 2012 Vineyard Race, American Yacht Club Spring Series 1st in class 2011, American Fall Series 2nd in class 2011, American Yacht Club Spring Series 3rd in class 2013, 2nd Stratford Shoals Race, 2nd Stamford Overnight 2012, Stamford Denmark 2nd in class PHRF 2011.
There has been no aspect of this yacht that has been overlooked in order to make it the fastest possible boat. Talisman has been professionally maintained and is ready to bring home the silver!
Under its current owner, Talisman has had constant upgrading of all sails, electronics and rigging. She is in stunning condition.
