Discover is a second generation Cape Horn 55. She was built with the emphasis on safety and redundancies for which Cape Horn Trawlers have become world famous. The first major refit was 2003 when many electronics were added and upgraded; deck railings and stanchions added to upper house deck 2004; interior woodwork refinished 2004; new yacht finish paint 2007.
