"There and Back Again" has a dark blue hull, blue bimini and enclosure. In spite of being only 29' feet, she more than meets the two requirements of people who relish being on the water: 1)The helm area L settee, pedestal seat, and cockpit provide great spaces for lunchtime outtings and cocktail cruises with friends and family; and 2) her interior provides a spacious separate V-berth and a convertible dinette that will sleep two, as well as a full galley, to make a weekend or week's cruise comfortable. And her twin Yanmars can get you there and back again to meet the demands of busy schedules. The Blue Star Yacht 29 Weekend Cruiser exemplifies our firm commitment to building the finest quality yachts. Designed by Mark Ellis the 29 boasts sporty performance and classic design details that put her at front of the pack. Quality craftmanship incorporates such details as custom castings for deck fittings, gleaming louvered locker doors and polished stainless hardware. The Blue Star's "Herreshoff" style interior and the saucy tumblehome of her transom speak of yachting traditions that are timeless. We build these yachts to last and that commitment assures you of a lasting value. The family who owns "There and Back Again" have enjoyed boating so much that they have now moved to a Grand Banks 42, and so must sell.

Stepping below "There & Back Again" you will see hand crafted, highly varnished, solid teak joinery accenting a bright, airy interior. The traditionalist is inspired by the teak & holly sole and Herreshoff stuled interior, while the modernist is pleased by the natural light and ventilation provided by the polished stainless steel ports. Turning to the starboard you are faced with an open galley and storage galore. The real surprise is to port: a generous dinette offers seating for four and converts to a 6'4 bunk for two. On your way to the owners cabin the enclosed head with shower is to starboard. A beautifully crafted bi-fold teak panel door separates the owner cabin privately from the rest of her interior. A modern classic without and inch of wasted space: the interior of the Blue Star 29.9 beckons a yachting couple to discover their favorite cove.
