Beneteau 463

Very popular Beneteau M463 used in the Moorings charter fleet based on the Oceanis 461 that won "Boat of the Year" in 1997 by Cruising World Magazine. Designed by Bruce Farr and built in the Marion, SC Beneteau plant, she proved to be fast and comfortable with a 3 cabin/3 head layout with aft cockpit and swing away helmsman seat into a spacious reverse transom swim platform. I have sold a few of these in recent years and found them all to be in good structural condition and a good value for the buyers.

This particular M463 was in the Moorings and Footloose charter fleet in Tortola from 2000-2008 and the owner has spent considerable time cruising in the Leeward, Windward and Virgin Islands in the past few years. The hull is clean but there is some crazing on the deck gelcoat along with the Lewmar hatches and ports (the plexiglass can be replaced). The custom bimini top with rigid ss frame and 18 oz. "Sheltright Poly-Scrim fabric" provides much better coverage of the cockpit than the normal folding bimini tops with improved egress from the cockpit to the deck.

This vessel has just completed a cruise from St. Vincent to Tortola by the owners in January, and is lying in Tortola while work is being done to bring everything noticed during this cruise up to proper working condition. The owners have priced this yacht for a quick sale.
