The Nordic Tug 37 is a Lynn Senour design that exemplifies the trawler tug genre. “OPTIONS” is a superb example of this design and she has had excellent care by her Knowledgeable owners. She has many custom touches that set her apart from the standard 37. The owners had a master craftsman build custom storage lockers in the main cabin and have added draws and access panels everywhere you would want them. The wood work is first class and it exactly replicates the factory style and finish. She has both bow and stern thrusters which combined with her sea kindly hull form make her a breeze to maneuver in close quarters. The boat shows like new, her gel-coat gleams and her oiled teak glows. “OPTIONS” is a must see for anyone considering a Nordic Tug regardless of the coastline you intend to cruise. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for the ideal couple’s trawler that is swift, economical and good looking then you owe it to yourself to see “OPTIONS”. Her systems are well laid out and have been serviced and upgraded by certified technicians who understand how yacht systems should be installed and maintained. Her wiring and plumbing have been upgraded; her acoustic insulation is first class and her bilges are clean and dry. Her soft goods and carpeting are as new.
Introduced in 1998 the 37 remains in production today which is a testament to her designer's eye and her builder's attention to detail. Engine room access is gained through the sole in the pilot house and the machinery space is roomy and well lit. Generator and main engine access is superb. All of the systems on "OPTIONS" are easily serviced and through hulls, wiring and switches are neatly labeled.
The hull of the 37 utilizes a vinyl ester exterior laminate for osmotic protection and her laminate schedule at the keel is over an inch thick providing excellent protection should a grounding occur. Handrails are found everywhere you would want them on the 37 and “OPTIONS” has had custom metal work to her railings and her mast struts which replace the original wire shrouds. Her hull utilizes a molded in swim platform which increases her waterline length to 39'2".
The interior of “OPTIONS” is in remarkable condition. Custom wood work and cabinetry make her look and function like a much newer model. The galley has all of the conviences of home from a apartment sized refrigerator with bottom freezer to corian counter tops. The large windows in the salon allow the chef to enjoy the views while preparing meals. The salon and pilot house of the 37 are almost full beam and her interior feels like that of a much larger boat because of it. Three short steps lead up to the pilot house. The pilot house has a large bench seat for the navigator(s) to port and a large helmsman’s bench to starboard which pulls out for to accommodate smaller skippers. “OPTIONS” has a cleverly designed custom SS foot rest that neatly folds out of the way when not in use.
Three short steps lead down from the pilot house to the master cabin. The master bunk is on centerline and has a Tempurpedic mattress. The head is to starboard with a separate shower stall and vacuflush head system. The guest cabin is to port and it has bunk beds with storage under the lower bunk.
Access to the boat deck is via a stainless steel ladder. The boat deck is surrounded by a 36” high stainless rail. A hard bottom side console AB inflatable with a 15 Hp Honda 4 stroke rests in a stainless steel cradle. The tender is launched via a boom/winch system that is capable of launching the boat from either the port or starboard side. The faux stack provides storage for the wired winch control.
A number of custom, well thought out upgrades have been made throughout the boat to utilize all storage space and to ensure comfort wherever possible. These upgrades include but are not limited to -
Master stateroom: Teak side drawers port and starboard, teak chain locker cover and tempurpedic queen matress.
