The Mainship 350/390 is a stylish, moderately priced sedan trawler with classic lines and a good turn of speed. Unlike a true trawler with a full displacement hull, the 350/390 is built on a faster semi-displacement hull with flat after sections and a shallow, full length keel. The Mainship 350/390 is a big boat inside thanks to her 14 foot beam, and floor plan which manages to include double berths in both staterooms as well as a separate shower stall in the shared head. Visibility from the lower helm is excellent and a deck door provides easy access to the foredeck. Aft, a sliding glass door opens to the covered cockpit where there is series of molded steps (instead of a ladder) ascends to the extended flybridge. Additional features include deep, well protected side decks, and integral swim platform, transom door, a full teak interior, and radar mast. The Mainship 350/390 Trawler features a large, uncluttered flybridge with plenty of seating and storage. Wide molded fiberglass steps replace the traditional ladder. Bridge walk through along with oversize handrails and raised toe rails add to safety. Below spaces off custom cabinetry, thick pile carpets in the staterooms and hall, and teak and holly flooring in the main salon. A spacious salon, workable galley, easy to maintain head and truly comfortable staterooms are incorporated to provide good flow and the most usable space afloat. Mainship trawlers were made with the highest of manufacturing standards, boat design, comfort and reliability. The build process included fabrication on-site of most components such as rails, furniture, and wiring providing high-quality prompt delivery and an affordable price. The Mainship 350/390 is one of the most popular yachts built by Mainship. Although Mainship is now out of business, the company was purchased my Marlow Marine and the new models will be known as the Marlow Mainship.
