“Fax Of Life” represents the best of the classic double cabin designs. Space utilization is excellent in that there is a great deal of square footage in which to entertain and yet the storage capacity is huge and cleverly situated. Moving about the boat is a joy due to the use of wide stairs as opposed to steep ladders. Her low center of gravity precludes the need for stabilizers and yet she has a good turn of speed with only modest horsepower resulting in real economy of operation. And, those 6-71s will last a long, long time. The usual “sorting out” process of a new boat is already complete. This included the professional updating and alignment of the underwater running gear resulting in a very smooth ride. The hull bottom has been barrier coated. The interior joinery is first-rate: dovetail joints are found in top quality furniture and only on very expensive yachts. Finally, the owners of this vessel tastefully decorated and specified practical, yet elegant furnishings that will be appreciated by knowledgeable yachts-folk.
