This vessel is a 72' Ferretti motor yacht. It is of fiberglass construction, with no major additions or alterations to the original design. The yacht has a single decked superstructure with fly bridge and radar arch on the upper level. General Description of Hull and Fittings: The underwater hull is of wide chine, planing "V" design. There are 3 spray rails that extend from the area of the stem aft to approximately midships, with the upper rail extending a further 10 feet aft. The hull was painted with a black anti fouling which is in satisfactory condition. Two 3 inch stainless steel propeller shafts have been fitted and each is supported by rubber cutlass bearings in the shaft log and by a single steel "P" bracket strut. Each shaft was fitted with a five bladed NIBROL propeller and instead of being fitted with a cone over the shaft securing nut had a specially designed zinc, sacrificial anode. The shafts are contained in partial tunnels that reduce the yachts draft while maintaining propulsion efficiency. The two stainless steel rudders are supported on the transom as oppose to penetrating the hull under the water line. The bow thruster is set into a tunnel built into the hull and the the stern thruster is bolted to the transom. At the outboard sides of the transom are 2 trim tabs each with two hydraulic operating cylinders. Through hull openings are all fitted with grills.
