The Cherokee 80? known as the ?Indian Arrow? is one of only two very unique 80? foot boats ever built by famous Naval Architect Alberto Mercati with the Italian Shipyard Profil Marine. Alberto Mercati is known for famous Baglietto designs like MY ADLER and MY BARONESS L.

Cherokee hulls can endure higher impact loads than any other pleasure vessels and therefore provide safety even in adverse sea conditions and at high speeds. Chosen materials are high strength epoxy and vinyl-ester resins, carbon fiber and Kevlar, depending on the areas. Whilst bottoms are solid, thick, stiff and strong, super structures instead, are of light weight composites and carbon fiber.

Water tight compartments insure flotation. Not only the construction, but the hull design too is built for seaworthiness. The priority of the Cherokee boat is speed and safety with a comfortable ride. The 24 degree dead rise of the hull permits it to slice through the waves like a knife, rather than to bang, creating not only a more comfortable but also a safer ride.

The cockpit, with its two wide, lateral corridors, is divided into three areas: At the stern is a large sun deck with a garage space underneath that houses a brand new Nautica hard bottom inflatable tender with a 15hp outboard engine. A Wave runner can easily fit inside this garage area as well.

The engine room is spacious and deep, with two electronic ?thoroughbreds" engines. These are the new 16-cylinder, 1,860-hp, electronically-controlled MTU, connected to Arneson Surface Transmissions and Rolla five-blade propellers. With those engines, as soon as she hits the sea the Cherokee 80? can hit the fine speed of 53 knots!!

Down below astern of the lounge and on the port side is an enclosed galley complete with all the necessary top of the line appliances including: A full size Sub Zero fridge and 2 big freezer locker drawers, a Miele flat stove and oven, microwave, trash compacter etc. Towards the back of the boat is the VIP cabin which is also considered a master cabin because of its generous size, queen bed, full bath and walk in closet.

The salon area doubles as a seating area that has a leather beige U shaped sofa for 12 with a wood table that expands into a dinner table and can be raised or lowered as well. The saloon can also be used as a media room to watch the 42? fixed plasma TV and Home Theater set up.

The master cabin is in the bow and takes up the whole width of the boat. It has a queen bed in the middle, a seating area on the port side, and a vanity seating area with a fold down mirror on the starboard side. The master cabin also has enormous amount of stowage: all the space along the broadsides has been used for closets. The master bathroom has a separate sink and vanity area, and enclosed shower and a separate enclosed space for the head and bidet.

The interiors are modern contemporary. The furniture has a light-medium tone wood in a matt finish, all lamps, fixtures and switches are of the best quality and with a gold plated finish. All carpets have been recently replaced throughout.

Quarters for two seamen are located and access in the bow area and have a full head and shower.

This amazing Open Boat has been priced to sell quickly to a lucky connoisseur-collector.

This shallow draft high speed luxury open boat is perfect for cursing Mediterranean waters or the Bahamas. Not for sale to US residents while in US waters.
