The inside helm station has engine controls with provisions for mounting electronics. Large storage area beneath the pilot seat and in cabinets to starboard. a wet locker built into the starboard aft corner adjacent to the access ladder, with storage lockers above. Sliding door for easy access to salon, large fixed windows of tempered glass for easy viewing when seated, are installed on all sides of this area. The navigation area in the salon includes a teak trimmed chart table, storage beneath and sufficent bulkhead space to mount electronics, along with a swiveling navigator's stool. Refrigerator under nav table. Teak companionway ladder with non-skid treads. Wide main settee berth on the port side. Teak hi-lo dining table with single folding leaf and central stowage area. Lockable bar cabinet, Marine Air air conditioning units (16,000 & 9,000 BTU's) in salon & aft cabin. Settee lockers below and behind seating area, sail locker is accessible through the hatch in the salon, opposite of the galley there is a dinette cinverting to large single, storage below dinette seats. The forward head is accessible to the forward cabin and passageway to galley and guest cabin. The aft port head has a seperate bathtub/shower foe the owner's stateroom. The forward head and aft port to headare fitted with removable teak floor gratings. Both heads have hot/cold showers, manual pump toilets. Yanmar 100 HP 4 Cylinder diesel, instrumentation includes tachometer, oil pressure gauge and water temperature gauge. Exhaust system is water cooled riser type. A rule 2500 automatic bilge pump and a Kidde remote activated fire extinguisher system are fitted. The stainless Steel shaft is coupled to the gear box with an Aquadrive flexible coupling and fitted to a bronze Autoprop propeller. An audible oil pressure and temperature alarm is included as well as a spur line cutter on the shaft. 5 fire extinguishers and an automatic halogen extinguisher in the engine room.
Spacious galley with Formica counter tops; heavily insulated refrigerator and seperate freezer, with top opening, custom fitted lid and removable serving trays. Holding plates cooled from the main engine driven compresser from shore power, generatoror inverter. Chopping board and fitted racks for dishes, cups, cutlery and other untensils; generous storage area. 3-burner gimbaled and fiddled gas stove/oven, stainless steel safety bar in front of stove. The hull in constructed with fiberglass and resins of a type approved by Lloyd's register of Shipping, for use in construction of craft under their survey. It is of sandwich construction with a balsa core. Isothalic resin is used in the hull. The ballast keel consists of four lid castings encapsulated in fiberglass and resin, 2 coats of epoxy barrier coat are applied below the waterline. Two coats of bottom paint, standard exterior finish is white gelcoat with one waterline stripe of light blue, one sheer stripe of dark blue and one cockpit accent stripe of light blue.
The deck and coach house module is constructed of fiberglass in a manner similar to the hull with areas of high stress, such as the main sail traveler track and winch mount base, foot blocks and mooring cleats composed odf solid FRP laminate and stainless steel backing plates. Standard exterior finish is Isothalic gelcoat. The deck and super structure is standard white. deck and cabin tops have molded nonskid sufaces around all hatches & hardware, large weather tight hatch aft, 3-molded cockpit lockers, teak cockpit deck, bulkheads bonded to hull & deck with fiberglass and mechanical fastners, seperate opening self-venting gas locker, two unusally large lazzerattes aft.
