Introduced in 1997 as the 405 Aft Cabin, Carver gave her an exterior face-lift in 1999 with new deckhouse profile and a new name, the 406 Aft Cabin.  She might might be considered a straightforward aft-cabin design if it were not for the fact that she's built on a deep-V hull, a good feature not usually found on American-built Motor Yacht of this size..

Hull construction is Solid fiberglass, and the wide chines of the 406 provide some extra lift not generally found on a deep-V hull form. 

Her two-stateroom galley down interior is arranged with double berths fore and aft. The lilghter maple woodwork and big wraparound deckhouse windows make the salon seem larger than dimensions suggest. The aft-deck is large enough for entertaining a few friends, and the walk-around helm console on the bridge provides plenty of topside seating.

• This Carver 406 has upgraded 370 HP Volvo diesels and many custom upgrades..she is not your normal 406.
• This 406 underwent a complete re-fit in 2005, including re-power to diesel, new frige & icemaker, new auto-pilot, new inverter system & more.  
• Custom hardtop on flybridge w/custom enclosure provide many advantages over normal canvas.
