McKinna Pilothouse

The 48’ McKinna pilot-house yacht offers the ultimate in family cruising. The 450 HP Cummins engines in combination with a forward medium-flared hull which flattens out aft enables speeds of 17 – 21 knots in a variety of sea conditions. At economical speeds a range of 700 miles is easily achieved. The 15 KW Onan genset and Xantrex Link 2000, the 20 gals per hour HRO water-maker, and two independent vacu-flush toilets provide the ultimate in comfortable living for extended cruising or gunk-holing. Three staterooms and two full heads provide for the comfort for six without crowding. A four station integrated hot air and air conditioning system provides comfort throughout regardless of the season. The cockpit with engine control station and large swim-platform with “tuna rails” provide safety and comfort for easy dinghy loading, swimming, or fishing from a safety enhanced platform.
