The Dufour 39CC offers seven berths in three cabins. Aft is the owner’s en-suite cabin with a slightly offset double berth and a settee/single berth to port. There is a vanity unit with cupboards. There is also a wardrobe with hanging locker. Two opening ports and an opening overhead hatch make the cabin feel very light and airy. A door leads to the en-suite which has a separate wash room and heads. The washroom has storage cupboards a single sink and shower with pressurised hot and cold water from both the engine and a 240V immersion heater. The heads has a holding tank that was fitted in 2010. There is also a wet locker
The linear galley is to port and leads from the aft owner’s cabin to the saloon. The galley has a large top loading 12v fridge (new compressor and evaporator 2009), double stainless steel sink, 2 burner hob with oven.
Forward of the galley is the saloon that has a large central folding table, with bottle storage, with settees on both port and starboard sides. There is lots of storage space in the saloon.
Between the en-suite heads and the saloon is the navigation station with a good sized chart table with padded navigator’s seat and area for instrumentation.
Forward of the saloon is a double V shaped berth with hanging locker, vanity unit and storage cupboards. The upholstery is gold in the saloon and blue in the cabins with curtains fitted throughout to match with clip on matching interior hatch covers.
The rich wood finish and Mikuni warm air central heating (2009) gives the boat a real cosy feel.
The companionway steps lead to a good size central cockpit with lockers aft. The boat is fitted with davits (new 2010) which make carrying an inflated dinghy very simple.
Spars & Sails
Bermudan rig double spreader anodised aluminium furling mast and boom with 4 to 1 rope kicker and Facnor furling system. Stainless steel standing rigging that was last replaced in 2009. Running rigging is Dynema and Terylene and has been replaced as required. The rig has adjustable backstay and a spinnaker pole is also fitted.

This Dufour 39CC has a Volvo MD22L, four cylinder, 55hp diesel engine located under companionway steps. It has a saildrive to a three blade fixed propeller new (2015). Saildrive gator was last replaced in winter of 2007/8Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever Morse controls on steering pedestal. 150 litres plastic fuel tank. Engine was professionally serviced in March 2015. Cambelt was last changed in 2013. Engine has completed approx 1800 hours.
4 x 110 AH 12 volt batteries (1x engine + 3 x domestic) all new 2010 charging from alternator and split battery charger (new 2009) via 240Vshore power system with ring main, immersion heater and battery charger. There is also a Fisher Panda 3.6KW generator and 300w inverter. LED Lighting in saloon and galley.
