SILVER STAR is the hard to find owner's version and is the only model located in US waters. Key differences of the rare owner's version layout include an office setup with desk and bookshelves which can also be setup as a 3rd single or double berth using a removable custom bunk and fitted cushions. For sailors who don't like sitting in telephone booth sized heads, you'll also find a rather large shower and head in the aft portion of the starboard hull. The owners particularly enjoy this creature comfort after enduring mono hull sized heads for many years. Also, you will find larger, highly reliable 27 HP Yanmar diesels compared to 18 - 20 HP diesels normally found in standard Catana 381's. SILVER STAR nicely sails at 7 - 12 knots in 10 - 20 knot winds and can get up to teens in 25+ knot winds.
