A great boat with great equipment. Wing keel for a shallower draft. Generator (new), Windlass, Roller Furling Main, Adjustable Garhauer Genoa cars system. 2 staterooms and one with a centerline walk-around bed, 2 heads, Refrigeration, Ice Cube Maker, and Dinghy w/ Motor.
Aft stateroom, with walk around king-size bed. Two great heads each w/ showers. Spacious salon with great head room. Well equipped spacious galley with propane stove/oven, microwave and electric small appliances.
Starting aft, the master stateroom is ideal. A walk around king-sized centerline berth, with room for you to get in and out of your own side of the berth without crawling over anyone. Room to stand up and get dressed, room to sit on the edge of the bed ...Tons of storage. Hanging lockers on both sides, lots of shelves and cabinets. A great boat for cruising, or living aboard. There is a custom innerspring mattress. Against the forward bulkhead is a 110VAC U-Line ice cube maker (2005) fed by filtered water from the galley.
The passageway from the aft stateroom to the salon is along the port side of the vessel. The aft head is accessible along the passageway, either from the privacy of the aft stateroom, or from the salon for guest access. There is room for a shower area, and a separate shower sump. Light and bright with good ventilation.
Moving forward and to starboard of the companionway is the U-shaped galley, the largest in the Catalina fleet. Well designed with lots of accessible storage and plenty of usable Corian counter space. Starting from the left, there is a built-in trash receptacle with a cutting board for the cover. Then near the centerline, you have two roomy, deep S.S. sinks with hot and cold running water and faucet with spray head. There is also a tap with .1 micron filtered water. There is storage underneath.
Moving towards the outside you will find the very large refrigerator/freezer with both top opening and front opening access. The refrigeration system is 12-volt, with the compressor in the aft starboard lazarette.
Next clockwise is the gimbaled, 3-burner Princess propane stove with oven, with a custom cutting board for the burner surface for additional counter space. Above the stove is the built-in microwave with rotating tray. All along the side wall and above the sink are built in cabinets and shelves for all of your dining and entertainment needs.
Next around is a large deep dry food storage locker, followed by a roomy open countertop for working with storage both above and below. Lots of drawers and cupboards. The cupboard on the bulkhead is for spice and herb storage. The "seawater" pump by the sink has been removed and replaced with an undersink Seagull IV filtration system for water (which also feeds the ice cube maker in the aft cabin).
Across from the galley and to port is the nav station. There is a comfortable and secure swing out seat for the navigator. The radar, VHF (with RAM mike n the cockpit), Link 2000 and generator controls, and the AC/DC electrical panel for the boat are all centrally located here. There is also a securely mounted flat screen 26" Toshiba HDTV with great viewing from the salon or galley. The HDTV works with the JVC DVD/VHS player and the Shakespeare TV antenna mounted on top of the mast. In the cabinet above the port side settee is the stereo amplifier, audio switching and iPod station. Underneath the cabinet is the DVD/VHS player.
Moving forward is the salon. With a luxurious wrap around U-shaped dinette to starboard, and a large settee to port .... there is room for your largest gathering. The table can be lowered to convert the dinette into an additional large double berth. There are lots of opening ports, overhead hatches for lots of light and ventilation.
There is (again) more storage along both sides and under the settees. This is a great space. Lots of light, lots of ventilation and a very comfortable usable salon.
Next forward and to starboard is the guest head. The head is accessible privately from within the forward stateroom. There is a shower with sump, and light and ventilation.
Foward is the guest stateroom. A spacious vee berth equals the master cabin of many boats. A private hanging locker, shelves along both side and enough comfort for discriminating guests. There is a large overhead hatch, and multiple adjustable lights and a fan.
