Please be advised that this Ocean Tech Marine Sport Fish is being offered for sale "as is where is" since it had a partial flooding caused by 10 to 15 inches of rainfall in September, 2011. The aft lazeratte and cockpit were partially flooded including the aft areas of the engine room where three ZF transmissions were submerged or partially submerged. The three main M.A.N. Diesel engines appeared to have not been submerged or the mid ship generator, however all three engines and generator engine lube oil was replaced within a day or so after the loss. The electrical rainstorm caused copious amounts of rainwater to run off the fly bridge and forward deck and into the shore mounted cord outlet and 110 AC electrical circuit breaker under the deck step. The rain or lightning shorted out and burned a terminal connection cutting off dock side electrical services. It was determined that with no shore power electrical service from dockside, many of the bilge pumps discharged the batteries making the pumps inoperative. Consequently, the vessel suffered a partial sinking at the dock, and since the water depth dockside was just 4.5 feet, the keel rested on a sandy section on the bottom. (The vessel draft is 3ft 7 inches.) Immediate steps were taken to remove the water from the vessel, raise it and then pickle the ZF transmission and change the oil in all the engines including the generator and replace the bad circuit breaker. It should be appreciated that the engine room forward bulkhead has a commercial grade watertight door with locking dogs which prevented any seawater from entering any of the forward stateroom or living quarters; water intrusion appeared to be limited to the machinery spaces and lazerette ONLY. The vessel has been on the hard since November 03, 2011 Dramatic $50,000.00 price reduction! This is a rare opportunity to purchase a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind yacht at a fraction of the fair market value. | ||
