Controls and indications for normal operation of the ships major systems are in the pilothouse. Lighting and electrical outlets throughout the pilothouse are powered by regular 120 VAC. The space is cooled by a small air conditioning (A/C) plant located in the utility room in the main cabin.

The main cabin sits on the main deck level forward. Access doors are on the main deck level on the port side and aft centerline into the galley / crew's mess, and starboard side into the after berthing area.
The main cabin houses a combination galley / crew's mess area, two to three berthing spaces, depending on configuration, a washroom/head, an electrical room and utility room.
Lighting appliances and electrical outlets throughout the main cfabin are powered by regular 120 VAC. Main cabin spaces are cooled by two (2) semi-permanent, self - contained air conditioning (A/C) units located outboard the after berthing space and opposite outboard the galley. The ship does not have the heating system installed.
The Galley /Crew's Mess occupies the after port quarter of the main cabin. Common household kitchen amenities such as over / under refrigerator, microwave oven, and double sink with hot and cold running water are located in the galley.
Storage for non-perishable food items and cooking utensils is located in cabinets both above and below the sink. Additional frozen storage is located in a chest freezer just outside the electrical room.
A table and chairs are located in the crew's mess area for dining, recreation and training.
Sea Slice has sleeping accommodations for up to twelve people in two berthing spaces. Both 6 person spaces are located on the starboard side of the main cabin. The forward berthing space has two inboard access doors and a divider that can be drawn across it for additional privacy. Personal stowage is located in a compartment beneath the mattress in each bunk, and in stand-up lockers located in each space.
Washroom / Head
There is a common washroom/head forward of the galley on the port side of the main cabin. Fixtures inclued a commode, a urinal, dual wash basins, a shower stall, and a stackable washing machine. Flushing water for the cammode and urinal is supplied from the Ballast Auxiliary System.
The Utility Room is located amidships, just outside the washroom. Equipment located inside the utility room includes a 40 gallon hot water heater supplying the galley and washroom fixtures, the pilot house A/C unit, and electrical disconnect switches for the hot water heater and pilot house A/C unit.
The Electrical Room is located in the main cabin, forward of the berthing swaces and opposite the washroom/head. It houses:

Forecastle (FOSCLE) Locker
The FOSCLE locker is a secure storage area located forward of the main cabin, and occupies the void space below the observation deck. Access is via a door centerline in the main cabin.
