Very well equipped complete with Air Conditioning and Autopilot THIS HUNTER 376 has an impressive feel on the wheel. The 3 cylinder diesel is anything but undersized as there is a commanding feel while under power. The classic rig gives better sailing performance than the inmast rig. To keep the full battented mainsail EASY to deal with this Hunter 376 has an ELECTRIC Halyard winch that makes it easy even for a 6 year old to raise the mainsail and for that matter trim the mainsail. Add the electric winch to the Harken Ball Bearing Bat Car System and the Dutchman System and you'll find not just a fast sail, but a very easily managed sail by any crew. The added benefit of the Electric Winch is that you can use it to trim the head sail by leading the genoa sheet to this cabin top winch. So, as a result you have power at your disposal such that even the physically challenged of us can handle all sails EASILY. THIS Hunter 376 has another unique parameter and that is that the mast has been reduced by 4' 3" in overall height. This was done to accomodate gettting this boat's very tall rig under a bridge on Kentucky Lake. So rather than the 60' 1" Mast Height off the water, THIS Hunter 376 has a 55'10" rig. The mainsail's alteration was minor and reflects more of a square top sail and is only 30 sq feet less than the orignial sail. Still lots of power yet will clear more bridges. NONE of the standing rigging was altered to achieve this - - only the extrusion was altered. Again, she still is fun under sail ! The Dutchman rigged mainsail with electric winch and small headsail on the rollerfurler maintains the manageability while short handed sailing the 376 and the power of the Yanmar diesel does the same with sails furled. Equipped with windlass, knotmeter, depthsounder, chartplotter system and, yes, RADAR, with Stereo with inside and outside speakers, Microwave, and LPG stove w/ oven, all of these features will ensure you and yours have an enjoyable time with THIS Hunter 376. As the photos show, this Hunter 376 has just undergone complete "spiffing" of all exterior surfaces. The deck and sides have been through our Rooke Sails system of wetsanding as necessary, then buffing with heavy duty 3M rubbing compound, then medium compound and finally completely sealed and polished with Starbrite Silicone Polish. Gosh, she sure looks beautiful. Not many Hunter 376's will be as impressive on hull shine. For that mattter the rubrail that was a bit dingy now looks almost new !! Again look at the photos. This boat is cosmetically & physically Very nice & desirable . Additionally, this Hunter 376 has just undergone a reworked underbody that took care of any blistering found - - not much, again we have photos to show what is under the new Pettit Trinidad bottom paint. That is right - - she comes WITH NEW BOTTOM PAINT. The more you look the more THIS HUNTER 376 may be the 376 for YOU!! Even windows have been reworked to ensure there are no leaks. The interior is the standard Hunter 376 design. The 12' 7" wide beam amplifies the interior volume such that when added to the European layout (aft head and aft double berth) you'll be hard pressed to find ANY 37 that yields such comfort. The aft head has two doors. One aft opening to the aft berth and one opening to the main salon. This improves privacy for those occasions when there is more than one couple on the boat. This FRESH WATER boat was put back in the water @ Greers Ferry Lake for your viewing pleasure. You will be impressed with her both inside and out. Virtually all opening windows and both fixed ports have been pulled and re-bedded so enjoyably this 376 is free of ANY window or deck leaks . Please contact us for an appointment to view this lovely yacht. Did we mention that the boat handles well and is pretty fast ??
