ACCOMMODATIONS & LAYOUT SAPPHIRE has accommodations for 8 guests in 4 double cabins plus two crew cabins aft and one crew berth in the forepeak. She has a large full width main salon with formal dining for eight guests with two U-shaped settees. All cabins, baths and social areas have large opening hatches for natural ventilation with blackout slides and screens. She is fully air-conditioned with individual cabin controls. SAPPHIRES classical interior is light and airy with mahogany accents, white painted paneling and maple cabin soles throughout. Lower Deck The forepeak has stowage, air handling units, anchor winch motors, bow thruster controls, and a crew bunk. It is accessed through a large hatch. Aft are two mirror image bathrooms with shower, toilet and wash basin for the two forward guest cabins. The two guest staterooms have a queen size bed with drawers and wardrobe. Aft to starboard is a full bath accessing into the starboard guest cabin which has a double lower berth and a Pullman. On the port side is the owner’s cabin with a queen berth with bedside tables, wardrobe & full bath. Each cabin has a flat screen TV, DVD & VCR with an independent stereo system. Main Salon The main salon is full width and located aft of the guest accommodations. On the port side is a large U-shaped settee with a coffee table and to starboard is a U-shaped settee for formal dinning. Above are two large opening skylights for light and ventilation. Galley Just aft to port of the main salon is the fully equipped galley. On the starboard side is located a desk with computer and Nav equipment. Crew Quarters Located aft are two crew cabins with access to the engine room and washer and dryer. A separate crew berth is located in the forepeak. Deck house Salon The deck house salon is large and comfortable and seats eight (8) for dinning. On the starboard side is the chart table with controls for inside steering. Cockpit The cockpit has seating on both sides with storage under a large table with two (2) drop leaves. The helmsman’s position is located aft with a curved seating area and duplicate controls port & starboard. Aft of the cockpit is the lazarette, the stern pulpit incorporates two teak grated seats port and starboard. Winches are located outside of the main cockpit enabling the crew to handle the sails without disturbing the guests in the cockpit. | ||
