Built from the same mold as the Durbeck 38, Nina de Luz was launched in the summer of 1996. Her traditional and moderate design reflects the proven concepts of such masters as Carl Alberg, Phillip Rhodes and William Garden. Every aspect of this custom-built cutter is as new.

Within the parameters of the mold and structural bulkheads, the vessel represents twenty years of commitment to structural integrity and quality craftsmanship by her owner and builder, Peter O. Guerke.
Attention to detail and performance demanded that form follow function in this hand-crafted cutter. Cosmetics, while striking, never superseded consideration of strenght and utility.

Every component is absolutely the best available, the press of labor cost was not a consideration.
