NEW LISTING….CRUISE READY….OWNER MOTIVATED…RECENT UPGRADES…A NICE YACHT READY TO SEE THE WORLD….. NEW LISTING….CRUISE READY….OWNER MOTIVATED…RECENT UPGRADES…A NICE YACHT READY TO SEE THE WORLD….. " Yacht Designer Angelo Lavranos, in Cape Town South Africa, has incorporated into this sturdy ocean passagemaker, both seaworthiness and ample interior space that offers steady and comfortable cruising. Below the water line, the hull shows a fine entry with a long cutaway forefoot followed by an efficient and modern keel section and a deep profile skeg hung rudder. This proven design combination readily separates a true bluewater passagemaker from other traditional yachts and offers ease of handling and lively performance. “INFINITY” was built and launched in 1993 finished and commissioned in 1995 and after a major Atlantic crossing from South Africa to Trinidad and the Caribbean, she has spent the rest of her life in the Caribbean and now Panama. “INFINITY” is a perfect example of a classic offshore design and is one of the warmest, roomiest, most comfortable interiors available in a 40’ cruising yacht. Incorporating a sugar scoop stern, aluminum slotted toe rail, dorades, opening ports, oversize rigging, pass through European style bow pulpit and quality construction, “INFINITY” is a modern classic. IN THE OWNERS WORDS: After sea trials they crossed the Atlantic in 1996 reaching Trinidad. Circumstances forced them to give up their dream of cruising and they sold Infinity to the 2nd owner in Jan 1998. The 2nd owner spent 2 months in Trinidad refurbishing and getting the vessel ship shape for continued cruising. They thereafter spent a few months sailing the Caribbean before being forced by medical conditions to sell INFINITY to the present owners in Nov 1998. The present owners have spent the past 12 years cruising the Caribbean on INFINITY and have maintained her in first class condition, throughout that period. INFINITY has only been sailed by the three owners and has never been chartered in any way. Having been our home for the past 12 years which have been arguably the happiest of our lives, It is with a sad heart that we offer this wonderful vessel for sale, but the years are passing and we feel the time has come for us to reluctantly seek a more sedentary life ashore. Viewed from the outside, “INFINITY” looks like a beautiful, moderately sized world cruising vessel. On entering below, all visitors are taken aback at her size and available living space. She has the interior of a 45’ yacht. “INFINITY” is a beautifully finished vessel with fine carpentry, that adds to the ambiance of her spacious interior. For a medium sized cruising vessel, she has an exceptional amount of space below”.
