Following directly in the wake of the iconic Grand Banks 36 and 42 Classic models, the GB 46 Classic takes the best of those popular designs and ups the ante just a bit, resulting in a vessel that, while nominally only four feet longer, offers her owners and guests accommodations that are noticeably more spacious in every aspect, from the flybridge to the engine room. At the same time she gives nothing away in the traditional Grand Banks hallmark quality, efficiency and dependability. Inside, the rich teak joinery, expansive 360-degree visibility, comfortable accommodations and thoughtful, efficient stowage continue to set this and every Grand Banks apart and define the breed. On deck the high bulwarks, wide side decks, generous hand holds and stout rails are there as one would expect on any Grand Banks.

Discovery represents the very popular two-stateroom, down galley arrangement. Her accommodations are comfortable for two couples or a cruising family. The down galley provides for generous work space and stowage and results in a much more open Salon for entertaining or relaxing. Discovery is remarkable for some of her thoughtful touches and details such as the stacked washer and dryer units, dual radars, watermaker, bow thruster, extensive electronics and instrumentation, new interior with custom area rugs in the Salon and Owner’s quarters and full flybridge helm enclosure. She is powered by a pair of Cat 3208T/A 375hp engines, arguably one of the finest, most reliable engines in the Caterpillar stable.
