MAIN ENGINES: Twin Caterpillar 3406B - 402 Hp / 300 Kw. Intercooler turbocharged. ENGINE HOURS: Port: 4,075hrs (1-Jun-2011) Starboard: 4,077hrs (1-Jun-2011) Both main engines where overhauled and had the W4 overhaul done. (2010) Jan/Feb. Gearbox inspection and service / oil change, were all considered in very good condition in (2010).
GEARBOXES: Caterpillar Twin Disc – 3:1 reduction
Four bladed bronze propellers with 40 inch diameter. The stainless steel shafts are lubricated in an oil bath, which is regularly serviced. The prop position is higher than the keel. All new international anti fouling was applied in spring 2010.
1 X Northern Lights 55kW/hr, model M104 T2 is fitted on starboard side of the engine room. New 2009/10. Hours 2660 hours on 27 December 2011. 1 X Northern Lights 55kW/Hr, model MP 445 H.51, overhauled at 5300 by Precision Marine - Palma, 2250 worked since, total 7.550 hrs. on 27 Dec. 2011. 1 X 25kW/hr Onan overhauled 2009/’10 at 1.800 hours. After overhaul 2644 hours, 3.444 hrs on 27 / 12 / 2011.
Firefighting: FM 200 in galley and eng. Room.
Electrical and Plumbing Systems
ELECTRICITY 380/220/24/12v All cabins have 220V plugs. All galley equipment is mainly 380 V and the smaller consumers 50Herz 220 Volt.
SHORE POWER: 380v – was all overhauled for Lloyd`s inspection. Insulation test was carried out by Lloyds. Transformer with phase change.
BATTERIES Service Batteries: 2 Gel batteries: 12V 2 x 210 Amp/hrs. New 2009/10, located in the control room.
Main engine starter batteries: 2 x 210 Amp/hr for each Caterpillar, make: FIAM Gel batteries replaced 2009/10 and located in the engine room
Generator starter batteries generators ( 3 generators ) FIAM gell batteries, 110 Amp/hr. all new 2009/10.
Radio batteries. Forward of the bridge, 24 V, 2 x 230 Amp/hr Lead acid batteries from, from 1998. All checked for Lloyds in 2009/10.
Battery chargers: AMBAR 2 x 12 V - 50 Amp/hr. Original
Shore power connection plus extension .
Efansa, battery control system. Overhauled during refit 2009/10.
Air Conditioning completely replaced during refit 2009/2010.
New Marine Air Chiller Water Set was installed, located on the port side of the engine room. 4x Marine Air units MCW72 models of 72.000 Btu each 5 4x frequency converter for the Altivar 312. 2x chilled water pumps 12x Air handle units in each cabin, galley. 2x sea water pumps The above equipment was all new 2009/’10
2012 - 6 new air handlers planned to be installed.
Fin stabilizers with Koopnautic digital electronics/ hydraulics from Vosper, model Fall 124 AVA all fully overhauled 2009/’10. New shafts and bearings. Installed in engine room. Low noise level. The Hydraulic unit is located in the control room. Hydraulics: Cramm (400v hydraulic pumps/ 2x PTO from main engines) for: 2 x boat cranes on upper deck - 1,000 kg each last overhaul 2011 and painted. 2 x anchor windlasses (+ capstans ) with 2 Cramm Danforth anchors of 180 Kg. 2 x 130 mtr. Chain, 21 mm galvanized steel chain. Passarella – 4 meter (aluminum construction with teak grating). Hydraulic retractable from the hull, operated by remote control from the aft deck and manual controls under decks. Bow thruster: Cramm hydraulic 56kW, powered by PTO on main engines. 2 x stainless steel aft deck capstans All above fully refitted 2009/10.
Side boarding ladders with teak grating port and starboard. Nicely stored with option to connect swim ladder and up/down with integrated electric winch.
Fuel system: Alfa Laval 250l/hr. Original, fully overhauled 2009/10.
Fresh water system: Water makers: 2 from HEM 25 series: each water maker produces 200 liters per hour. One was replaced in 2010 and second one was replaced in 2011. Both water makers are located in the engine room. The hours are resp. 1018 and 1023 hours, 27 /12 / 2011. UV water Sterilizer WD Aqua with a capacity of 4 m3 per hour, New 2010.
Hamann waste water treatment plant was fully replaced in 2010. Capacity: 1000 Liters per hour.
Toilet system: 2009/10 newly installed Vacuum Jets plant system with 2x 30MB-D Pumps. New toilets and grey water shower system now all changed to a vacuum system. All plumbing and vacuum tanks were renewed in 2009/’10.
