The deck hardware on the First 21 Classic includes a pulpit with fairleads, 18-inch stanchions and lifelines, all stainless steel. There is a wooden foothold on the cockpit seats, wooden toe-rails, one forward mooring cleat and two aft, two jib tracks on the coach house with cars, and a Harken boom vang with camcleats. The 7-8th silver anodized mast and boom has a single set of spreaders, stainless steel standing rigging and a split backstay with adjusting tackle. Running rigging includes mainsheet with Harken ratchet block mounted on the cockpit sole, jib sheets, and main and jib halyards. The molded interior is white with wood trim. The companionway has a fiberglass sliding hatch with a single hatchboard. Her salon has two single berths with mattresses. There is stowage under the cockpit and the berths. Some extra options are available, such as a trailer, offered with or without brakes, a swim ladder, an outboard engine bracket and mast raising gear (standard with the trailer).
