Entering the Main Salon from the aft deck, a U shaped sette/dinette is to port. The settee converts to a double bed. There is also a hi-low teak table for cocktails or dining. A liquor cabinet with table top is also to starboard.
Two AC/Heating units with electronic controls supply the main cabin and the two staterooms. The lower helm station is forward starboard with double fold up seat. A convenient sliding door at the lower helm provides easy access to the deck.
The Forward companionway is down four steps and leads to the staterooms.
There is lounge seating for six, where instrumentation is repeated and a communications mast mounted radar and other antennas are located.
Taking advantage of her 13'10" beam, the salon is well ventilated with five large sliding windows, contains acustom built, upholstered convertible settee and a hi-lo dining table to port, entertainment center, and lower helm station with full instrumentation and wheelhouse door to starboard. A raised panel, solid teak sliding door opens to cockpit. The galley, with pass-through to the salon includes a double stainless steel sink, a three-burner Kenyon electric range, refrigerator/freezer and a microwave.
Three steps below from the salon, a guest stateroom to port can be fitted with two single berths or a double berth.
The Master stateroom forward, with 6'4" headroom, features a queen -size walk-around berth, cedar lined hanging locker opposite a dressing table to starboard, and head with separate tub/shower.
Both the guest and master staterooms have ash ceilings and opening skylights and ports for ventilation and additional light.
Powered by twin CAT 3116 diesel engines, she cruises at 20 knots,
with about a 400 nautical mile range. The CAT 3116 is a fuel
efficient, rugged engine that packs 300hp for trouble-free, long-
range cruising. The engines turn 24" four-blade props on 1
3/4"Aquamet 22 shafts through 2 : 1 gears. The engine room's
surfaces are double sound insulated. Automatic fire
extinguishers and alarm systems are standard.
Marine Air Units for the CD40 air conditioning and heating
system. Marine Air is noted for quiet starting, low power
consumption and dependability.
The CD40 has three bulkheaded water-tight compartments. This
unique design seals off the engine compartment to substantially
reduce noise transmission to adjoining areas and contains any
fuel or oil spills within her separate bilge.
The self-bailing cockpit features two large gasketed and lockable
stowage compartments under the sole, teak covering boards, and
transom door to the swimplatform. The cockpit sole lifts out for
complete access to the tanks, exhaust and steering systems.
Grab rails are within easy reach along the wide side decks. A full
length 30" high handrail, Lewmar windlass, anchor and rugged
teak pulpit is standard.
